Peaks Island

Built in 1888, this hall held great importance during the post Civil War days.It sits upon the rocky coast of Peaks Island overlooking Cushing Island. The gorgeous wrap around porch is a great place to relax with friends and coworkers.  A dining room with spectacular views can seat up to 85 people. A quaint garden area provides the perfect setting for wedding photos . This building is handicap accessible and has two bathrooms.

This oceanfront location was the site of a famous summer stock theatre back in the late 1800’s.  Many well-known performers such as Jean Stapleton and the Barrymoore family performed here over the years.  The Greenwood Garden’s Playhouse still hosts local island acts. This spacious building can hold up to 226 people with plenty of room for a band.It is handicap accessible and has toilet facilities. A large tent outside can provide shade on a hot summer day. Volleyball,horseshoes and other outside games are provided to keep everyone entertained. The sunset view here is spectacular.

Spectacular views to Portland Harbor and the surrounding islands are enjoyed from our outside deck.The Harbor View at Jones Landing offers their guests a total of 4,780 square feet of function space for an event, which includes 2,880 square feet of deck area overlooking the sparkling, boat-filled harbor. This outdoor space can accommodate approximately 200 seated guests. The inside is newly designed and offers space of 1,800 square feet, creating seating for approximately 100-125 guests. Its white walls are accented by vaulted ceilings, with spacious windows that frame the ocean view. French doors lead to the outside deck. If you are getting married, this venue also has a charming bridal suite for the bride to prepare for her big day. A full service bar is available.

Thompson’s Point, Portland

Reborn of an industrial past, Brick South‘s rough hewn wood and steel beams, warm brick walls and gleaming concrete floors provide a beautiful texture on which to build your unique event. From weddings to trade shows to corporate galas and photo shoots, this venue has lots of space if you crave lots of room to bring your vision to life. The outdoor depot is also available for a waterfront space.

Fort Williams, Cape Elizabeth

Fort Williams is home to a beautiful oceanfront park and Portland Head Light, the most photographed lighthouse in the world. The 100 year old fort at Portland Head, which was Portland Harbor’s main defense for many years, was officially named on April 13, 1899, for Major General Seth Williams, a native of Augusta who served in the Civil War. A rustic tent with fireplace sets upon the hill with incredible views of Casco Bay. The park is handicapped accessible.

Wolfe’s Neck Farm, Freeport

Enjoy the unspoiled beauty of nature in the friendly relaxed atmosphere of on this 600 acre saltwater farm located along the shore of casco bay. Enjoy beautiful walks on or near the shore, tucked in the towering pines. Explore the working beef farm with the cows, goats, pigs, hens and wild rabbits accessible to everyone. Enjoy tidal swimming, fishing and kayaking. The farms has an outdoor tent with tables and chairs. The farm is handicapped accessible.

Barn At Walnut Hill, North Yarmouth

The serene and beautifully manicured estate-like acreage of The Barn on Walnut Hill offers an intimate setting to host your event from May through October. Located just twenty-five minutes northwest of Portland in the quiet town of North Yarmouth, the custom-designed gardens and four green acres provide an enchanting setting for your celebration. The attached 19th-century barn and farmhouse have been painstakingly restored and renovated to capture the charm of time past while simultaneously offering modern amenities to facilitate flawless events. The venue can seat 200 people and has a house that sleeps 12 people. The venue is handicapped accessible.

Ocean Gateway, Portland

Winslow Park, Freeport

A fun state park with playground and facilities. The picnic area is covered and there is plenty is space for outdoor games. Located on a peninsula surrounded by Harraseeket river and Casco Bay, Winslow Park offers fabulous views, a sandy beach and group areas for company picnics or family reunions. There are 2 tented areas with plenty of lawn space for games. The location is handicapped accessible.

A unique industrial inspired space combined with the studio elements and outdoor urban garden make this one of Portland’s most unique event hosting locations. O’Maine Studios, conveniently located in downtown Portland, has everything you need for your dream Maine wedding reception or corporate event. The venue gives you plenty of options to customize our space to meet your needs. There is also plenty of room for seating and a dance floor, and as a bonus we also have our own 2,000-sq.-ft. garden patio.  O’Maine Studios offers plenty of parking for your guests.
